The Performance Based Standards (PBS) scheme offers the heavy vehicle industry the potential to achieve higher productivity and safety through innovative and optimised vehicle design.

In this session, guests will learn how PBS vehicles can significantly improve the safety and productivity of their freight task.

The NHVR’s PBS experts—including Chief Engineer Les Bruzsa—will discuss how the PBS scheme works, including the safety and infrastructure standards, vehicle simulation and approval processes. You’ll also be given some examples of how the current Australian PBS fleet is improving safety, productivity and efficiency for the industry.

Don’t miss the opportunity to hear from, and ask questions of, the NHVR PBS team, which works closely with PBS vehicles on a daily basis.
