Volvo Group Australia are locked in for the 2019 Brisbane Truck Show. It’s always exciting to see what’s in store as the Volvo Group have always made the most of the industry’s showcase event, and the last show was no exception.
Not only did Volvo Group Australia create a spectacular display and customer experience at the show venue across the Mack, UD and Volvo Truck brands, they also pushed their presence across Brisbane.
There were fireworks on a barge floating the new UD Quon down the Brisbane River; Disney’s Mack was in Reddacliff Place along with a great display for women in transport with a pink Mack and a pink Volvo supporting the Pilbara Heavy Haulage Girls driving academy, as part of a pledge to help address the labor shortage and as a part of a long term push for greater diversity behind the wheel.
Since then Mack and Volvo have both celebrated being awarded Australian Made certification for their trucks which are manufactured at the factory in Wacol. This includes the Super-Liner, Granite, Trident, Metro-Liner and Titan for Mack, and the FM, FH and FMX for Volvo.
The Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre will be bursting at the seams when the 2019 Brisbane Truck Show kicks off on Thursday 16th May next year. If the last show is anything to go, it’s hard to imagine what else can be added. More trucks and more trailers; more equipment, more components and more technology. That’s what.
The Brisbane Truck Show is an unparalleled showcase of the very best our industry has to offer.
