The larger facility in New South Wales is the result of ZF’s significant growth, and enables streamlining of operations.

ZF Services Australia Brings All Activities Under One Roof for the First Time

Now located in the Sydney suburb of Blacktown, the move to the new headquarters is the result of significant growth right across the business since ZF Services Australia was first established here over 30 years ago.

The new 7,207 square metre facility has enabled ZF Services Australia to bring all its activities under the one roof for the very first time, enabling smoother operations and greater efficiencies right across the business.

Greater Physical Capacity Allows Expansion into New Segments

“Our operations have been streamlined by this move and that’s resulted in quicker turn around and more capacity, so we are able to service customer needs in terms of both products and support even more quickly than before,” ZF Services Australia Managing Director Mark Lowe said.

“This extra physical capacity will also enable us to expand into new market segments, which we’re exploring at the moment. Australia is a key part of ZF’s global operations, and this investment is part of that. ZF anticipates being a major player in this region for many, many years to come.”

ZF to Showcase the World’s First Modular Transmission System to the Brisbane Truck Show

Underscoring this vision and commitment to the Australian commercial vehicle market, ZF will bring the absolute latest in its global technology to the Brisbane Truck Show.

The centrepiece of the ZF Services Australia stand will be TraXon, the world’s first modular transmission system, developed to meet the commercial vehicle market’s requirements for a versatile, flexible solution.

Light, strong and intelligent, TraXon mates a basic high-tech automatic transmission with various setting-off and shift modules, giving manufacturers and operators the best possible flexibility for every application, as well as increasing driver comfort.

TraXon made its Australian debut just two years at the 2017 Brisbane Truck Show, and is cementing its place in the global commercial vehicle market, being selected as original equipment on many new trucks, some of which will be displayed in Brisbane.

At the 2019 Brisbane Truck Show, ZF Services Australia will also showcase its range of aftermarket products from its brands including SACHS, LEMFÖRDER and TRW, as well as its remanufacturing capabilities and offerings.

Globally, ZF brings over 100 years’ experience in the automotive industry and has built a strong reputation for being a reliable partner through the entire life cycle of its products. ZF Services Australia will showcase this experience and its commitment to the local commercial vehicle market at the 2019 Brisbane Truck Show.
