The Q-FE Road AntTM is a dual control, forward moving aggregate spreader, built in Australia.
The Q-FE Road AntTM can be driven independently from both ends of the vehicle and has been built with significant safety features that are engaged when driving the vehicle from either end.
Winner of the Victorian 2020 APPA Safety Initiative Award, the Q-FE Road AntTM has a dual control cabin to allow the operator to sit either side of the cabin, directly over the spread line, allowing clear, uninterrupted vision of the work site and surrounding area.
This Q-FE Road AntTM is based on an IVECO ACCO fitted with a Trout River asphalt-compatible body and 10-gate chip spreader.
The IVECO ACCO is Australia’s most popular vocational truck range and continues to be manufactured at IVECO’s Melbourne manufacturing facility. The vehicle is powered by a Euro 6, 8.7L “Cursor 9” engine producing 360Hp and is mated to an Allison 6-speed full automatic transmission.
Available in either 6×4 (including Dual Control) or 8×4, with 7 wheelbase options and GVMs up to 28.5t, the IVECO ACCO is ideally suited to waste, hook-lift, tanker, tilt tray and general haulage applications.
