Students are invited to explore diverse & rewarding career opportunities at the Brisbane Truck Show on either Thursday 18 May or Friday 19 May 2023.

This invitation is extended to students, teaching staff and careers advisors.

What’s happening?

The Brisbane Truck Show is the largest commercial vehicle event in the Southern Hemisphere. The most recent shows have won three successive Australian Event Awards.

Around 40,000 people from across Australia and around the globe will attend the spectacular showcase of the very latest innovations in trucks, trailers and technology; wall-to-wall across all three floors of the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre.

Australia’s innovative design, engineering and manufacturing are the envy of the world, and there has never been a better time to jump on board. Right now, the industry is going through an amazing transition towards a low-carbon future through electromobility.

We are hosting close to 2,000 students from over 50 schools to this year’s event – and your school is invited to be among them.

          • Australia’s best have been selected to represent their State for two days of dynamic competition to find the best team in the country.

          • Entertaining and informative commentary, great interviews and presentations offer students a behind-the-scenes look at Australia’s vital heavy vehicle industry.

      • Brisbane Truck Show careers walk – Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre
            • Our new digital mapping offers student’s a self-guided tour of the show and highlights all the career specialists waiting to welcome students to their stands.

            • Exhibitors can’t wait to talk to students about the diverse career opportunities their companies have to offer.

      What you need to know

        • HVIA is offering every school a grant/stipend towards the cost of transport for students and teachers to and from the show.

        • School students must wear school uniforms. Entry is FREE to students.

        • Teachers will receive a VIP Pass for FREE entry.

        • We will contact you to schedule your school’s visit, discuss transportation grants, daily itineraries, pickup and drop-off points, contacts, and necessary permissions.
