Joining the new heavy-duty S-Way prime mover on IVECO Truck’s stand in Brisbane will be its latest off-road model, the T-Way, which replaces the Trakker range

Brisbane Truck Show attendees will be given a glimpse of IVECO’s model breadth across both on- and off-highway applications, with a display spearheaded by two of its latest releases, the heavy-duty S-Way and rugged new T-Way, which has been developed for the toughest off-road applications.

Representing the S-Way at the show in the model’s first official public appearance will be two prime mover models, an AS (Active Space) 550 and AT (Active Time) 460. Read more here.

Joining the S-Way on stand in Brisbane will be IVECO’s latest off-road model, the T-Way, which replaces the Trakker range.

T-Way is available in 4×4, 6×6 and 8×4 configurations and shares many innovations and technology advancements featured in the S-Way, including Euro6 (Step E) engines, Hi-Tronix transmissions, and safety equipment such as electronic braking system (EBS), ABS and ASR (anti-skid regulator) and hill holder.

These models also feature day-time running lamps, LED head lamps (with cornering fog lights), transmission intarder and engine brake, and a tough ECE-R29.03 certified cab. An optional lane departure warning system and tyre pressure monitoring system are also available.

The display vehicle is a 4×4 variant that boasts a host of off-road systems including full-time 4×4, hub reduction to all axles, and front, centre and rear differential locks to provide superior traction in slippery conditions.

A two-speed transfer case also delivers excellent tractability in low range, allowing T-Way to overcome steep ascents and descents easily and safely.

Further aiding off-road capabilities is a generous 33-degree approach angle, front parabolic suspension with dampers and stabiliser bar, and rear three-leaf parabolic suspension with stabiliser bar, which provides outstanding articulation while smoothing out the bumps.

Location: Stand 58, Hall 1
